Insightful Science is seeking a Product Manager with hands-on Web UX and Interaction Design skills, and technical fluency to join our North American product team.
You will help us deliver new cloud and web-based applications. You will work closely with our VP of Product, core product teams (e.g. GraphPad), product operations, engineering, and engage with customers on an ongoing basis to identify pain points, articulate solutions, and deliver new product capabilities that drive growth.

Responsibilities
- Engage with the executive team to address business needs
- Collaborate with product teams to translate priorities into initiatives, and align roadmaps
- Conduct user research and customer development to identify pain points
- Leverage data insights, such as product usage, to inform priorities
- Create wireframes and clickable prototypes
- Conduct UX tests to validate and refine ideas
- Produce PRDs, user stories, flows and other artifacts to articulate requirements
- Interface with engineering to deliver on initiatives
- Own project scope, milestones, timelines and deliverables
- Perform user-acceptance testing and assist with QA
Qualifications
- 2+ years in Product Management or Product Design role
- Excellent written and oral communication skills: able to synthesize complex ideas
- Proven experience delivering Web-based B2C and end-user products
- Advanced understanding of HCI and UX principles (e.g. user-centered design)
- Practical experience with interaction design best practices and patterns for the Web
- Experience conducting UX research (qualitative and quantitative)
- Advanced skills in high-fidelity wireframing and prototyping (Sketch, Figma, Invision)
- Intuition for and keen eye for modern UI design
- Highly fluent in Web technologies (HTML, JS, CSS, APIs) to communicate with engineers
- Familiarity with analytics to inform product development
- Highly organized, and experienced running projects end-to-end
- Biased toward action and pragmatic: prioritizes delivering user and business value
- Motivated self-learner, willing to acquire new skills quickly
- Constantly staying up-to-date on Web best practices and product trends
- University degree in HCI, Design, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
