Job Title: Product Manager

Location: Hungerford, Berkshire

Our incredible growth has created an opportunity for us to add a dedicated Product Manager to our Review Platform team. The teams’operations span all aspects of creating and maintaining a new system to manage reviews for multiple companies, this spans everything from API’s and embeddable widgets to CMS creation and data integration. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of development planning and organisation in a fast paced environment as well as an understanding of the technical implementation that follows. The right candidate:

  • Thrives in a fast-paced agile product development team environment
  • Can translate business requirements into system and software features and detailed technical requirements
  • Multi-task effectively, efficiently juggling the demands of supporting the team with product definition and business functions

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with teams and business stakeholders across companies to understand their challenges and needs, translating them into clear and concise business requirements
  • Drive product decisions and daily progress to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Find the best path forward for the business when confronted with competing requirements and priorities
  • Scope deliverables and milestones from inception to launch
  • Write detailed functional requirements and break them down into epics and user stories in Jira
  • Manage the team processes, meetings and planning sessions
  • Articulate product requirements to developers and assist with the management of the development process
  • Create and communicate the product roadmap
  • Communicating and sharing of information within the business while using feedback to improve the platform as a whole
  • Define and track success metrics to ensure the platform is successful

Experience

  • 3 Years of experience in a product management role
  • Experience using Agile methodologies with documentation tools such as Jira &Confluence
  • Experience in a software/web development environment or background
  • Highly analytical:
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to logically and efficiently structure ambiguous problems, identify sources of data, conduct complicated analysis, identify key insights and recommend actions
  • Creative problem solver:
    • Demonstrated ability to develop practical, workable solutions. Skilled at learning and applying new technology tools.
  • Understanding user processes/flow and methods of analysing and acting upon the results. E.g. Google Analytics or comparable software, user testing/feedback, customer research and data analysis.
  • Work with online review platforms in some form is desirable but not a requirement.
