We started Chameleon after being frustrated at poor user onboarding. We all know how important it is for new users to quickly reach โ€œahaโ€ moments ๐Ÿ’ก and Chameleon enables this for our customers.

Companies like Highspot, Mixpanel, and Moz use Chameleon to offer personalized and contextual in-product user experiences, such as targeted slideouts, tooltips, banners, checklists, microsurveys, etc.

And as we scale ๐Ÿง—๐Ÿป we want to create an incredible learning hub packed with insights to help inspire and educate our customers into leveraging Chameleon in a multitude of different ways to drive user engagement and product adoption.

This Product Education role will be pivotal to Chameleonโ€™s success and you will have great responsibility in helping us create and own our category.

What you will do day-to-day
  • Own product content across all channels (video hub, help docs, in-product announcements, customer engagement emails, etc.)
  • Set priorities and manage the roadmap of product content
  • Create content (write articles, record &edit videos, create graphics, etc.) using a variety of content creation tools with good design and high-quality production
  • Collaborate with others (e.g. product manager, co-founders, etc.) around content production (e.g. outline pieces for others to write/record, edit what others have written, etc.)
  • Work closely with our marketing, customer success, and sales teams to understand gaps in customer understanding, and help leverage product content effectively
  • Create and track metrics to measure the performance of product content

Skills and experience that will aid success in this role
  • 2+ years working in a content production role e.g. Copywriter, Product Marketer, Education Specialist
  • 1+ years working at a small SaaS startup (<50 employees)
  • Excellent written and oral communication;good stage presence;high energy. Your style should be punchy, succinct, and compelling.
  • Comfort with technical concepts (e.g. APIs, data stack, CSS, DOM, etc.)
  • Interest in UX, design, user psychology, SaaS, data technologies
  • Empathy with customers' goals, frustrations, and circumstances;the desire to help others;a background in teaching or coaching might be helpful

  • You have a fully functioning workstation and a quiet place to work (and take calls) with a high-speed internet connection
