We are looking for a Digital Product Designer who can take over all design tasks in internal as well as client projects. You should have prior experience designing UIs for web applications as well as participating in and facilitating product strategy workshops.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the facilitation of external client workshops of product strategy activities such as product discovery workshops and design sprints.
  • Work through design problems from beginning to end: conducting user research and translating research insights into ideas, user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • Interpret data from qualitative research to reduce assumptions, identify jobs-to-be-done, and help the team to deliver an experience that users understand and enjoy
  • Work closely with engineers as you build, iterate on, and ship ideas.
  • Create product component libraries and technical guidelines.
  • Support our marketing and business development department with occasional work on social media design assets, presentations for client handoffs, new business pitches and content for blogs posts and talks
Skills
Must-Have

  • 3-4 years experience (ideally both agency and startup)
  • experience designing responsive web applications
  • knowledge of native design systems and guidelines
  • experience and methodological expertise in planning and conducting collaborative workshops, Design sprints, etc.
  • experience in hands-on research (both qualitative and quantitative)
  • ability to create and update wireframes and (digital) prototypes using Sketch, Figma, etc.
  • ability to articulate your design decisions and presenting your work to others
  • experience collaborating with product managers, engineers and project stakeholders in general
  • appreciation of the entire product development process, from problem-solving to UX concepts with a strong focus on visual design.

Bonus

  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS – if you can turn your own designs into working (static) pages, that’s awesome!
