QRY is looking for a Paid Search Strategist to join our remote team. The strategist will be responsible for developing, implementing, tracking, and optimizing paid search / SEM campaigns across multiple clients.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience managing large paid search / SEM budgets for retail and e-commerce brands. You should have a strong understanding of how the Google Ads and Microsoft Ads platforms work and can be optimized. You should also be able to confidently communicate complex strategies and analytic results in an easy-to-understand manner. Last but not least, you should be independent, ambitious, driven, intellectually curious, and have a good sense of humor.

Responsibilities
- Plan, book, and optimize paid search campaigns (i.e. Google AdWords, Bing Ads, YouTube, Amazon, etc.)
- Advise on paid search strategies, rationales, and plans to meet client goals.
- Utilize available search planning tools to develop search plans and forecasts.
- Strategize and implement A/B experiments to test keywords, bid strategies, ad copy, landing pages, offers, etc.
- Report and analyze the performance of the campaigns
- Keep current on the latest trends in search, social media, mobile marketing, tracking and tagging, behavioral marketing, retargeting &addressability
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, science, math or a related field
- 3+ years of related work experience in PPC/SEM;agency experience is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Self-starter with an ability to work independently with little supervision within a team environment
- Excellent presentation and written communication skills
- Must have a clean, quiet work environment suitable for video conferencing and a sense of good “digital etiquette.”
