Mac Platform Engineer - remote

As a Mac Platform Engineer on the Banno Team at Jack Henry &Associates, you will be an advocate for a flawless end user experience. You'll work with Mac OS/Linux based engineering and operations teams, handle SaaS platform administration and work with 3rd party vendors. You'll promote learning and development to help our staff familiarize themselves with the platforms that enable our work. You'll lead the maintenance and deployment of our fleet (300~) of developer MacBooks.

Our team is distributed and largely remote, though if you do prefer office life, we have locations across the country. Work hours are flexible but gravitate towards US business hours. Occasional travel (approximately 5%) may be required for company meetings and professional development.

Preferred Qualifications

In depth experience supporting MacOS users and deploying MacOS, specifically within the JAMF MDM platform.

Experience managing and implementing various SaaS platforms;G-Suite, Slack, Jira, GitHub, and PagerDuty.

An appetite to teach and to learn.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

A passion for the Mac platform.

Keep up with industry trends within the realm of security and operational integrity as it relates to the Apple ecosystem.

Assist with incoming triage and support requests, but with an eye on solving the larger root issues by identifying areas to educate and inform our users and teams.

Ensure that our developers have reliable systems so they can ship code.
