Kotlin Developer To Work on Articles (remote, part-time)

Posted 3 years ago

We’re looking for a Kotlin Developer to work on creating technical articles.

First –you naturally need to be a developer working or actively involved in the Kotlin ecosystem. The articles will be code-centric, so being in the trenches and able to code is instrumental. Also, note that our articles are focused on core and server-side development with Kotlin, so not Android.

Second –you need a solid command of the English language.

Budget and Time Commitment

========================

Here are the typical budgets used by most authors:

Level 9

  • 1500+ words –73.5$
  • 2000+ words –83.5$

Level 13

  • 1500+ words –79$
  • 2000+ words –89$

Once you get started, we have a lot more budget levels (the top level is 18), based on the quality of your writeups.

And we generally handle payments via Paypal.

In terms of time commitment, a good target is one article every 2-3 weeks - but that’s very flexible (as long as our communication is good).

About the article (+ some examples)

=============================

You’ll usually pick articles out of the existing content calendar of the site. You can also suggest your own topics as well (and get additional compensation for that).

Here are a few examples of topics:

  • Working with Maps in Kotlin
  • Filtering a List in Kotlin
  • SAM Conversions in Kotlin
  • Spring Security with Kotlin DSL

And here are a few finished article examples:
