Keystone Law is not just a law firm;it’s also a highly entrepreneurial tech-driven business and we are recruiting a Junior Web Developer to be part of the firm’s Central Office team of 50 that provide the support and infrastructure to over 400 lawyers. The fun and inclusive culture at Keystone is akin to a tech startup but in reality, the business is a highly successful PLC and every person is valued for what they do and the impact they have on the business.

At the heart of the Keystone is IT, in particular our award-winning bespoke tech platform Keyed-In, which enables lawyers around the world to operate from any location with ease and efficiency.

To support our small but highly collaborative team of developers, we are looking to recruit someone to work alongside them and ensure our systems remain the best in the profession and constantly evolve as technology progresses whilst also learning and developing their own personal skill set.

The role would suit either a junior full-stack developer, or a junior front-end developer who is curious about backend development. We aren’t looking for a unicorn, and would prefer front-end JS development skills to back-end experience, but we will support candidates to develop in-post, as the role will require working across front and back end as the applicant learns.

The successful applicant will have the option to work from our London office or remotely but will be required to attend team meetings and social events in person which are held in London on a regular basis.

Required skills:

  •          1–2 years’ experience of Ember JS or other modern JavaScript frameworks
  •          1–2 years’ experience developing HTML, CSS and JS sites and managing cross-browser visual quirks
  •          Integrating with REST/JSON APIs
  •          Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical peers
  •          Proficient understanding of code versioning tools

It would also be beneficial to have the following skills:

  •          Experience writing and understanding object-oriented PHP
  •          Experience with Laravel PHP Framework
  •          Knowledge of MySQL

If you feel you have the skills and experience we are looking for and would enjoy working for an expanding and forward-thinking business, then please get in touch.

Please note that experience in a legal environment is not essential for this role.
