As a Monitoring Engineer, you will be part of a 24x7x365 monitoring team. There will be some weekend shifts required. The team will be responsible for an overall monitoring strategy and best practices for IT monitoring, working closely with developers and architects
Main responsibilities
- The team will need to cover 24x7x365 proactive monitoring
- Report events based on the procedure. Follow all events till closure.
- Prepare and maintain Documentation, Reports, and provide follow on the status of identified tasks.
- Coordinate across teams to ensure that all issues apply the appropriate focus and sense of urgency.
- Perform daily health checks (Network, Servers &Applications).
Requirements
- 1+ year in IT
- You will be trained in DataDog, Nagios, and Dynatrace
- A background in infrastructure will be advantageous
- English fluency, verbal and written
- Responsible, Trustworthy, and able to follow clear directions
