The Role:

We are seeking an experienced developer with the relentless pursuit of crafting a world-class DevOps culture. The ideal candidate promotes modern DevOps, and recognizes the application developer as the ‘customer’to empower.  You will join Nacelle’s Engineering staff to develop and build all aspects of infrastructure and CICD. You will work directly with application developers on well-designed, repeatable solutions that scale. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Implement core infrastructure using Pulumi and Typescript
  • Write and maintain automated tests for infrastructure modules
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure standards of qualify and observability are met
  • Enhance and maintain our CICD pipelines for each microservice
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies to ensure proper workload and alignment

Skills &Qualifications:

  • 3 years of software development experience
  • 2 years of production-grade Terraform
  • Experience in a fast-paced venture-backed startup SaaS environment
  • Strong understanding of software patterns and data structures
  • Experience writing CICD pipelines, ideally with Github Actions
  • Developed production-grade data pipelines using Kafka
  • Experience with observability tools such as DataDog

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Pulumi or CDK
  • Experience with GraphQL
  • Familiarity with npm and artifact versioning
