We are looking for a Head of Business Operations to join IOV Labs during this exciting period of growth.
Reporting to the COO, you will support the on-going transformation of our business, focusing in particular on the advancement of our product, marketing, and sales groups.
Responsibilities
- Work with the COO to define, analyze, measure, and optimize the process infrastructure of the company.
- Lead and manage annual and quarterly objective setting, planning, and operational budgeting processes to ensure linked and aligned resource allocations and efficient execution.
- Build and lead the Business Operations team, taking ownership of existing business intelligence, revenue operations, and commercialisation efforts.
- Develop KPIs, design analytics systems, and deliver insights to help identify opportunities for improvement and inform decision-making across the business.
- Identify potential areas of inefficiency, bottlenecks and/or scaling issues, and address them by assembling and leading process improvement teams and actions.
- Support the execution of cross-functional, strategic initiatives and provide program management as needed to ensure effective delivery, change management, and realization of expected results.
- Partner with teams across the business in the on-going commercialisation of our technology, from business model iteration to design and implementation of go-to-market strategy.
- Aid in the development of a customer-centric product development culture, striking a balance between our business, our customers, and the open-source community.
- Establish strong working relationships across functions and management levels, working collaboratively, and independently to drive improvement where necessary.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in business operations, revenue operations, or management consulting. Hands-on, coal face scale-up experience is highly preferred.
- Strong interest in and familiarity with cryptocurrency and decentralised technologies.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and excited by the constant pursuit of product-market fit.
- Knowledge of lean development principles and agile methodologies.
- Deep understanding of KPIs, OKRs, and organisational performance management.
- Excellent organizational and workload management skills, great on prioritization.
- Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams, and work in support of leadership teams.
- Attitude should be hands-on, outcome-oriented, and with a strong bias for action.
- Ability to perform systematic analysis, deconstruct convoluted problems, design strategy, and define precise plans of action.
- Power user of spreadsheets (Sheets, Excel), presentation tools (Slides, Powerpoint), comms systems (Slack), data visualization.
- Intermediate or greater SQL proficiency a plus, but not essential.
