As part of this high growth initiative, the Full-Stack JavaScript Engineer applies technical competencies and knowledge to solve problems and improve upon exiting designs or processes. May seek input from more experienced individuals to improve quality of deliverables. This can position can be either located in Cary, North Carolina or we are open to remote / virtual, anywhere in the continental United States. 

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering - Appropriate technical discipline or local equivalent of same
  • 2-4 years of related technical experience
  • Proficient understanding of JavaScript, HTTP, REST, and json
  • Experience in one of the following areas, with a desire to learn the others
    • Node.js, preferably in a Linux/Docker environment
    • Single Page Applications (SPA) using frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
    • Mobile application development with React Native
  • Demonstrable understanding of object-oriented and/or functional development, concurrency, and data structures
  • Experience persisting structured and non-structured data
  • Ability to work in a Scrum team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to articulate changes to software for design reviews and code reviews
  • Experience developing commercial product software
  • Strong focus on quality designs and use of quality methods
