About the position
ParOne is looking for a talented Sr. DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us architect and build and maintain security and compliance solutions for the AWS cloud our top of our flagship cloud &infrastructure security products. You will be responsible for architecting cloud-based solutions and will need to be proficient in infrastructure and platform design and management as well as application deployment automation. You will be responsible for designing, building, reviewing, testing, debugging and troubleshooting clean node.js code in a talented and highly collaborative environment.
We're building APIs to help owners of golf content distribute high quality video to golfers through the golf focused applications they're already using.
You should be able to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design.
This is a fully-remote US-based position.
Salary
The salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 DOE

Software Engineer responsibilities are:
Design and deploy scalable, highly available, secure, and fault tolerant systems on AWS for the development and test lifecycle of our cloud security product.
Focus on building Serverless application components by integrating with AWS
Modify existing software in AWS to improve performance.

Examine data to grasp issues, draw conclusions, and solve problems.
More about what we're doing and looking for:
3+ years' experience of working on a Computer Software Engineer or Software Developer position
APIs and interfaces currently being written in Node.js, Vue, GraphQL, and Prisma.
Most services deployed on a serverless architecture. Database tech currently not chosen. Prototyping in SQLite.
Experience building advertising and analytics platforms welcome.
The goal is minimize API costs, minimize data transfer, minimize latency for end users -- the usual metrics.
The complexity is to make this available in multiple regions, so managing data transfer costs across regions may become important.
We'll also be looking for this role to setup reliable monitoring so that we can perform ongoing cost and performance optimizations -- so either third party monitoring like DataDog or Segment, or a Prometheus/Grafana vet would be welcome.
This is basically a senior, or maybe high mid level full stack role.
