We're looking for a part-time Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our fully remote team!

We're an entirely remote team spread across 7 countries and 20 cities. The company is on a journey of creating an eCommerce platform built around nurturing customer relationships through marketing automation solutions.
We're looking for a part-time bookkeeper to join us in creating world-class experiences for our Shopify eCommerce applications.
This position is 100% remote. You'll have the freedom to work where you're the happiest and be a part of a team that cares about your success and well-being.
As our in-house Full Charge Bookkeeper, you'll complete and manage our US/International financials at every stage of the accounting process for multiple businesses, including the Founder's personal financials. You'll work closely with the Founder's Executive Assistant and Tax Advisor teams (US and abroad).
This is a remote, part-time role (20 hours/week) to begin with.
- Be the point of contact for all accounting-related activities for multiple businesses.
- Complete all A/P and A/R entries and functions.
- Maintain and provide current monthly and yearly financial reports and statements.
- Perform month and year-end closings.
- Complete bank and general ledger reconciliations.
- Journal Entries and payroll processing.
- Enter fixed assets and prepare depreciation schedules.
- Prepare and file 1099s, DWTs, V2A forms, etc.
- Assist with annual report filings and estimated tax payments.
- Work directly with Tax Advisors in preparing annual tax returns for each business, including the Founder’s personal.
- Follow accounting/tax schedules and meet challenging filing deadlines.
- Create, edit and keep up-to-date bookkeeping how-to pages in our company Playbook.
- You’re a seasoned SaaS bookkeeper – You know SaaS and US/International bookkeeping fundamentals. You have a solid understanding of SaaS COGS vs. Expenses, Investments, Loans &Acquisitions entries, Chart of Accounts, etc.
- You're a project management master - You can handle bookkeeping for multiple businesses and meet various time restricted deadlines.
- You're a spreadsheet specialist – You know complex formulas and can quickly create and manage spreadsheets to organize and pull financial data.
- You're tech-savvy – You know how eCommerce works or have worked in the eCommerce space previously. You're not afraid of new technology and can grasp its rapidly changing environment.
- You’re highly detailed and organized – You notice the little things and nothing slips through the cracks. You keep all your documents and data organized and easy to understand.
- You're a fantastic communicator – You're able to communicate and lead multiple teams involved in complex accounting projects with excellent written and spoken English skills.
- You're enthusiastic and independent – You're enthusiastic about solving problems and helping others. You can do your work and be on top of things with little supervision.
- You're a go-getter – You're ready for a challenge and you strike when the iron's hot! You seek out opportunities to step up and go above and beyond.
- Flexible schedule to attend video communication calls with the team and Tax Advisors in global time zones.
- BYOO (Bring your own office) - Have your own computer and fast, reliable internet connection.
- Advanced knowledge in Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Experience using cloud-based communication and project management software like Google Meet, Slack, Asana, etc.
- Knowledge or experience with the Shopify platform.
- Start-up business experience.
- Internal auditing experience is a plus!
