Grafana Labs is the company behind Grafana - the de facto standard Open Source dashboarding tool for visualizing and analyzing metrics. Grafana is commonly used for infrastructure and application monitoring, but we've also seen installations to monitor things like beehives, power-plants, or even ambulances.

This is a remote position. We are looking for candidates in EST/Central US and European timezones.
We're looking for talented frontend engineers to help build out our data science and machine learning team, which is responsible for the practical application of statistical analysis and machine learning to difficult problems in the observability space. The ideal candidate has experience implementing beautiful and functional front-end applications, and has worked with machine learning applications and/or time series data.
A normal “day in the life” could include working on novel applications of data science in the observability space, designing user-friendly interfaces to help our users define and manage prediction and anomaly detection jobs from within Grafana.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with frontend development (HTML/Javascript/Typescript/SASS)
- Experience building applications in React
- Strong written communication skills
- You work well within a team and you're driven to help others
- You strive to be better at your craft!
- You can drive your work independently, but you also know when to reach out for help
- You care deeply about user experience and the quality of the products that you work on
Bonus Points
- Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Graphite, or other time-series platforms
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and/or Data Science
- Open source projects and/or contributions
