Our client the Oxolo GmbH is a one-year-old start up from Hamburg with a fully
remote team. Oxolo is a deep tech company building interactive, intelligent
avatars of existing people or characters to blend them into digital entertainment.
Through our platform we are developing several entertainment products to
leverage our technology. With over 20 years of experience in the gaming and
entertainment industry our mission is to elevate the user experience to a new and
magical form of engagement. With interactive virtual copies of existing people or
characters brought to life by cutting-edge AI and deep-learning neural networks,
our products create an emotional relationship between people and avatars and
deliver a radically new experience to the user.
We are looking for a: CTO (m/f/d) based in Hamburg or remote
Who we’re looking for?
We’re looking to hire a Chief Technology Officer (m/f/d) full time as soon as
possible. Are you passionate about building revolutionary technology with a high
caliber tech team consisting of 25+ engineers? Do you feel right at home in the

Your area of responsibility:
- Heading and serving as the contact partner for our worldwide development team in all strategic and technical matters
- Continually managing and following up on new developments and productenhancements (incl. patent system) increasing the efficiency, quality, and the speed of the developmental process
- Responsibility for recruiting and establishing the development team
- Scaling the tech stack in conjunction with our growth strategy
- Being an active member of business management and with that, assuming responsibility for costs and results in the tech field
- Incorporated into all strategic decisions made by the company
What you have to offer: Must haves:
- Completed degree or comparable education with a focus on computer sciences
- High level of product orientation with the capability of anticipating market shifts as well as profound economic business understanding and a clear orientation towards results
- Very good programming skills in diverse languages (Python, C#, Java, etc.)
- Very good knowledge of AI-based and statistical NLP (Natural Language Processing)
- Conceptual clarity regarding research directions going beyond state-of-theart performance in NLP, TTS and Computer Vision
- Distinct product understanding with knowledge of user insight
- Very strong understanding of managing teams consisting of members spread across the globe
- A strong team player and inspiring leader
- Very good English language skills
Would be ideal:
- Expertise using Linux, Bash, (GPU) Clusters
- Good knowledge in the use of Cloud service providers i.e., AWS, Google
- Excellent mathematical knowledge, especially in statistics
- Very strong knowledge of dense, convolutional and recurrent neural networks and other modern architecture such as transformers
- Experience and understanding using generative AI models
- Good knowledge in the field of Reinforcement Learning
- Most ideal would be a key focus on human centered AI
- Experience creating products incorporating machine learning modules in a smartphone app
