About the Role: 2 years into building our platform, we are now poised to aggressively grow in 2021. We are looking for a Front-end Developer to join the team and help us with a number of upcoming initiatives. These include building;a series of professional looking landing pages, a new app for the company using React Native, and also modernising/replacing an existing Ruby on Rails web application with a more React focused approach, or potentially even Gatsby/JamStack. You would be working alongside the CTO, Product Lead, CEO, and 2 fellow developers to develop the web and mobile digital platforms for the company. We all have proven experience developing successful startups and are looking forward to adding your experience and ideas to the mix. It’s an exciting time for the company as we still have a small team. You will get a say in decisions with a key role, joining at the early stages of scaling the team. Currently the team’s skill set is back-end skewed. We are looking to add someone to the mix who can focus more on UI design and also the architecture side of front-end, such as CSS structure, webpacker &asset pipeline config, and also technical SEO. Requirements:
- Confident to lead &own front-end architecture, including Javascript, CSS, assets, technical SEO.
- Confident creating UI look and feel –eg UI design &layout for responsive landing pages &dashboards &mobile app screens.
- Pro at Git &love working in an agile way.
- Test focused –you actually want to have good test coverage and want to test first where possible. You think analytically and responsibly about what it means to have quality code.

- Some experience working with React JS and/or React Native.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails
- Excited to collaborate &support each other remotely. (We have hotdesking options if 100% remote is not your ideal)
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership. You understand that startups are unpredictable environments and are comfortable with a degree of chaos.

Remote working Formerly solely London based, the team is now fully remote.
