Do you want to work for an organization that cares as much about developing you as you care about developing your code?  Are you interested in becoming a valued member of a highly skilled team of developers?  Ohio University’s Office of Information Technology is looking for a results-driven candidate with technical, collaboration and communication skills to join our ERP Development team. 
 Leverage your working knowledge of ERP systems as you and your fellow team members develop, maintain, and support our ERP solutions and their integrated third party applications.  Your technical and functional skills will grow while collaborating with our user community as you help analyze business requirements and move the work forward.  Partnering with your fellow team members, you’ll be supporting our mission by performing ERP development in Oracle EBS and WorkForce to help optimize our critical business functions.
 You’ll need a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field with a minimum of three years of work related experience.  A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.  It would be helpful for you to have experience with relational database development and relevant ERP experience (Oracle EBS and WorkForce).  Effective written and verbal communication skills when dealing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential.  Working experience in a higher education environment would also be helpful but not required. 
 
 ERP Developer II:
 Minimum Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field. A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
 3+ years of relevant work experience.
 2+ years of work experience in relational database development.
 Strong troubleshooting skills.
 Effective written and verbal communication skills with both IT resources and non-technical stakeholders.
 
 Preferred Qualifications:
 Experience with source control software.
 Experience in linux shell scripting.
 Experience working in a higher education environment.
 Knowledge of common HR and/or financial business processes.
