ABOUT MILLENNIAL MONEY MAN

We’re a group of emoji-loving, gif-using, finance-obsessed individuals dedicated to the mission of teaching people how to make more money with side hustles, save more money, and pay off debt. Learn more about what we do.

We’re looking for a part-time Director of Operations (W2 employee) to aid us with reaching that goal. If you’re a passionate self-starter who thrives in remote environments, but still likes to join an occasional virtual happy hour or two, then read on!

(Bonus points if you’re a wine connoisseur or own a dog. If this statement confuses you, follow Bobby on Instagram.)

How we work
  • We use meetings when necessary, but otherwise use Slack, voice messages, and Loom as much as possible
  • We focus on results – while prioritizing personal health and family
  • Gifs and emojis whenever possible!

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Director of Operations will oversee the day-to-day activities of the business, ensuring that the organization is well managed and performing efficiently and effectively. While this is a director-level role, we’re still a small business and are looking for someone who can be strategic and dig their hands in when necessary.

This role is right for you if…
  • You can step in and help facilitate the owner’s vision for the business – taking his ideas and turning them into actions
  • You have experience helping a small business/startup like ours grow, and are bursting with creative ideas to push the team to be better
  • You are self-motivated and can perform your work with minimal direction
  • You value timely communication within a team to ensure that projects are efficiently moving forward towards completion
  • You have a passion for personal finance and are interested in working for a mission-driven organization
  • You love exploring new tools and ways to improve productivity, while keeping the bigger picture in mind and ensuring that Millennial Money Man maintains an active online presence to support our community

Bonus points if…
  • You have already worked with a personal finance media company OR a business that has heavily utilized affiliate marketing and sponsored brand content
  • You take your work more seriously than you take yourself
  • You are a Slack gif and custom emoji guru
