High Alpha is hiring key team members for an exciting new B2B SaaS startup. This position will be with High Alpha’s latest company, which is currently in stealth mode. You’ll be one of the very first employees and will initially report directly to the CEO, while working closely with the internal High Alpha team. If you’ve ever been interested in working at a company from scratch this is it!  

As our Director of Engineering, you’ll lead all engineering initiatives. What You’ll Do:

  • Own delivery of a successful MVP; 
  • Build, lead and grow the engineering team dedicated to the ongoing advancement of the our SaaS product and the roadmap towards delivery;
  • Design and develop clean and maintainable code;
  • Recommend core architecture platforms and initial code-base;
  • You should be willing and motivated to build the initial products yourself with a small team.

  • Quickly understand and extend engineering architectural patterns;
  • Develop and support a culture of continuous improvement and best practices within the Engineering organization;
  • Develop and maintain a startup-like culture, and foster high level of employee motivation, performance, and commitment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • 7-10 years of SaaS software development experience with JavaScript, GoLang, React, and other modern frameworks
  • 5+ years of leading and coaching a team of developers that you will be focused on hiring from initial stages
  • Experience with Cloud Technologies
  • Experience with eCommerce Platforms, Social Networks, Marketing Technologies, and Communications Platforms and/or integrating with them
  • Experience with container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience building, scaling &monitoring infrastructure needed for SaaS-based application and services.
  • Well networked within engineering communities and able to recruit and add talent to your team.
