Wealthbox, a maker of CRM software for financial advisors, is seeking a Director of Demand Generation in our marketing department. This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives and campaigns to source qualified leads and drive new revenue and increase brand presence for Wealthbox in the financial advisor community.
This person will be responsible for developing strategies across the full marketing-sales funnel. The Demand Generation Director will work directly with the Wealthbox sales, marketing, and partnership teams and will be instrumental in the success of Wealthbox marketing and revenue initiatives.
Responsibilities in this position include:
- Develop and execute a multi-channel demand generation strategy that is aligned with the sales team to achieve revenue and pipeline goals
- Collaborate with sales team to create MQL and pipeline goals, develop and maintain a marketing methodology, and continually measure and tweak processes to increase engagement with new customers
- Lead the development of engaging and effective content for multi-channel marketing campaigns through each phase of the sales funnel
- Demonstrate proficiency within multiple formats including search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC), website, social media, and email marketing
- Create, manage, and structure outbound email marketing campaigns for sales via Salesloft
- Optimize our channel strategy through testing, monitoring, and campaign analysis to increase conversion rates
- Apply analytics to make data-driven decisions to refine and improve campaigns, content, workflows, and UX
- Strategize and implement lead-generation efforts through inbound and outbound marketing initiatives
- Collaborate on initiatives, campaign briefs and developments, timelines, manage the production of campaign materials, and communicate campaign results
- Responsible for managing multiple deadlines and projects, delivering new ideas to the team, thinking on your feet, and moving at a fast pace to hit aggressive KPIs
- Follow relevant marketing and demand generation trends and integrate best practices across channels and processes
Desired skills &experience
- At least 5 years of marketing experience in lead generation, conversion optimization, and campaign management with technology/SaaS companies
- Experience in managing integrated marketing campaigns, leading a demand-gen function, and exceeding lead and engagement targets
- Expertise in marketing automation and experience with marketing operations tools that power email campaigns, landing page development, and lead nurturing
