 Digital Asset Acquisition Specialist

We are looking to hire a Digital Asset Acquisition Specialist with a passion for meeting new people, negotiating, and closing deals, big and small! 

In this position you will be working with colleagues to identify, analyse, and purchase a variety of digital assets (include online products, tools, and domain names) in line with overall business strategy. 

The ideal candidate will have direct experience in a similar role, and the attitude to work at both high volume and high value. 


Day-to-day activities:

·         Identify targets and research best ways to make connections with current owners 
·         Build a strong network of the best brokers and contacts to assist the goal of completely future proofing the business’s product matrix 
·         Manage acquisition pipeline end-to-end, from contacting owners to negotiating the best possible deal, to managing the transfer of assets 
·         Develop pipeline reporting, making improvements to optimise speed to close; 
·         Develop brand for the brokerage business (with assistance) to command a strong online presence which is respected in the industry 


You must have:

·         Proven track record of taking control of a pipeline (e.g. sales, recruitment, brokerage) and driving through from identification to conclusion 
·         Ruthless organisational skills and be able to track hundreds of swim lanes at once 
·         Strong understanding of the sales process, dynamics, and negotiation 
·         Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport and personal relationships 
·         Excellent functional computer skills, including ability to manage and format data within Excel (pivot tables, reports, dashboarding) and confident user of online tools such as Trello, HubSpot, and Slack 
·         Ability to thrive in a fast paced, transaction-based environment 
·         Comfortability with handling extremely confidential business information 
·         Willingness to travelling where necessary to get a deal over the line 
·         A love of finding software-based solutions to drive more repeatable, efficient, and scalable processes
