EstateSales.org is currently in search of a skilled and experienced DevOps Specialist with an deep understanding of LAMP stack and cloud-based solutions to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing and modernizing our existing infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence and reliability, with a focus on robustness and fault tolerance.


🔍 Key Responsibilities:

  • Modernization and Optimization: Elevate our existing LAMP stack and facilitate its migration to cloud-based solutions for enhanced manageability and fault tolerance.
  • Cloud Services Management: Leverage AWS, EC2, and Cloudflare to implement load balancing and other cloud-based services.
  • Systems Configuration: Utilize configuration management tools such as Puppet to automate and streamline system configurations.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Establish monitoring using Zabbix and engage in swift troubleshooting and triage for website outages.
  • Server Management: Administer linux-based EC2 web and database servers to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Network Management: Implement advanced networking and security strategies to maintain a secure and efficient network infrastructure.
  • CI/CD Management: Maintain and optimize continuous integration and deployment pipelines for web apps.
  • Scripting and Automation: Develop SSH scripts to automate routine tasks.

  • 🎓 Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 of experience in a DevOps role with a focus on LAMP stack and cloud-based solutions.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Deep knowledge of AWS, EC2, HAProxy, Cloudflare.
    • Experience with configuration management tools, preferably Puppet.
    • Familiarity with MySQL database servers.
    • Proficient in SSH scripting and automation.
  • Networking Knowledge: Solid foundational knowledge of networking and network security.
  • System Knowledge: Extensive experience with Linux-based systems.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to think on one’s feet.
