DevOps Engineer | £700 a day (IR35) | Build public sector enterprise platforms - remote
Hays Tech is partnering with The Pensions Regulator to hire a remote Senior DevOps Engineer on a 6-month contract.
The Pensions Regulator are responsible for regulating the UK's workplace pension schemes, acting as an arm’s length body of DWP. They have significantly invested in their technology offering over the past year, working to modernise and improve their software capabilities.
This contract DevOps team are being hired to build out next-generation enterprise platforms. You'll develop CI/CD practices by creating pipelines, automating the build and release processes in Azure DevOps, and working to standardise those processes across our application suite.
You'll also be supporting the migration of IT infrastructure into Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS cloud computing models, as well as partnering with Software Engineering and Operations colleagues to design, build and iterate on the platforms.
This will suit experienced Platform Engineers who are well versed in the Azure and .NET ecosystems. You'll be familiar with a broad range of cloud-native and automation tools, and will have a track record of contracting within large and complex organisations.
The contract rate is £700 a day (inside IR35) and you’ll be paid directly via Hays PAYE every Friday. Work/life balance is crucial at TPR –even though you’re a contractor, you’ll only work a 35 hour week.
Please note that this is a remote-first role so we're considering applications across the UK.
This is an urgent requirement, so if we've piqued your interest, apply now for immediate consideration. The next stage will be an informal conversation where you'll be able to find out if the role is for you.
