The engineering team at Ahoy is a fully remote, cross-functional, and autonomous team made up of talented engineers from various backgrounds and skill levels.

What the role will focus on

  • Build, manage, and monitor our extensive infrastructure
  • Introduce and test new technologies, tools, and systems that enable fast and safe code deployment
  • Work closely with team members to identify and automate manual and repetitive processes ensuring efficiency, quality, and scalability
  • Optimize our CI/CD pipelines
  • Design and champion DevOPs best-practices

  • Amazon DocumentDB, Relational Database
  • Amazon Elastic Container Registry
  • Key Management Service, Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC, subnets)
  • Terragrunt, Terraform
  • Github actions

What you will bring to the role
  • Experience building scalable infrastructure
  • Understanding of cloud-based infrastructure, such as AWS
  • Experience with systems for automating deployment, scaling and management of containerised applications, such as Kubernetes
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Curious and collaborative team player who takes ownership of new and challenging problems and sees them through.
  • Not afraid to ask for help or ask questions, and share your knowledge openly
  • Experience with a remote full-time role

Nice but not essential
  • Experience with Ruby, Python or other programming language
