The OutMatch Junior Developer / Tier 2 Support Engineer is a mid-level developer with excellent problem-solving skills, who can provide technical support for our applications and clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys tackling complex problems, is eager to learn and grow, and excels at collaborating with internal and external teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Investigate and solve challenging and time-sensitive production issues, often in support of our enterprise and Fortune 500 clients
- Manage an evolving queue of support tickets, working them in accordance with our established Service Level Agreements
- Research, troubleshoot and develop solutions in web-based and mobile web SaaS applications, encompassing technologies like: Microsoft technologies, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, HTML, JS libraries, and MS SQL Server and MySQL databases
- Configure and customize our applications to meet unique customer requirements
- Interact and collaborate with our end user support, client success, and product development teams
What You’ll Need:
- 3+ years’experience in full stack .NET development. Strong knowledge of concepts in Object Oriented Programming
- Demonstrated experience working with Relational Databases, SQLand writing database queries
- Experience developing and working with APIs and Web services (SOAP, REST). Familiarity with Postman preferred
- Eagerness to learn new and unfamiliar technologies
- Outstanding troubleshooting skills and the ability to problem solve and think critically
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to articulate concepts to a variety of audiences, including non-technical team members and clients
- Ability to prioritize work and be self-directed in a dynamic and challenging work environment
- Strong work ethic and desire to meet client and internal driven deadlines
- Familiarity with working in an IDE for development and debugging, using tools like Visual Studio
- Experience with repositories and a source control system, such as Git
- Experience with Ruby on Rails preferred, but not required.
