I have a role with a company that is a global leader in edge-to-cloud PaaS.
The role:
- Design, build and maintain production ready enterprise container platforms and underlying infrastructure with good DevOps practice and automations tools
- Work with collaboration with customers to design and build platforms to their requirements
- Provide architectural design input and best practice to customer design
The requirements:
- Experience creating container-based solutions on an enterprise container platform (e.g. Rancher, OpenShift, Docker EE, Azure AKS)
- Proficiency with Kubernetes
- Good understanding of the CNCF landscape
- Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages
- The ability to define solution architectures as code (primarily Terraform &Ansible)
- Good general infrastructure engineering skills
- Good general consulting skills
- Ability to lead on customer projects
