Business Development Representative - remote

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our remote team. This is a full-time, independent contractor position open to applicants in the U.S. and ideally on the east coast. 

Responsibilities:
- Develop and propose ongoing growth strategies to increase client base
- Find and cultivate leads via email, phone, and Zoom
- Build rapport quickly, within minutes of a phone call or the subject line of an email
- Use a consultative approach to selling 
- Assist with proposal and contract creation
- Stay on top of the latest industry trends and news
- Keep HubSpot as well as other internal tools updated on a daily basis 
- Work with Reliable team members to ensure consistency, clarity, and accuracy in all recommendations provided to current and prospective clients
- Collaborate with Reliable management, onboarding, and marketing team members on promotions, communication, company-wide improvements 

Requirements
- 2+ years of outbound (cold) sales experience
- A strong track record of success - consistent achievement of KPIs 
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
- Outstanding attention to detail and organization skills 
- Prior experience with design, front-end development, and/or WordPress
- Prior agency, design, and/or tech industry experience
- Ability to work with a team or independently
- Self-motivated with the ability to think creatively and troubleshoot 
- A friendly, cheerful, warm personality
