The Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who is passionate about empowering and enabling their team to drive success. As an early member of the Business Development team, you will be responsible for growing, developing, and enabling team members, defining goals, and driving successful strategy.

Day-to-Day 
  • Manage and grow a team of inbound and outbound Business Development Representatives
  • Develop strategies to reach team quotas
  • Define KPIs to measure and communicate success
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Account Executives on pipeline targets and conversion trends
  • Train, retain, and upskill a talented team of Business Development Representatives
  • Recruit and hire new team members to appropriately resource the Business Development function

Qualifications
  • Sales management experience in a SaaS company
  • Business Development or Account Executive experience
  • Proven ability to manage teams that strategically partner with executives to source both transactional and enterprise deals
  • Ability to coach and enable team members to meet their goals
  • Extensive experience using Salesforce, including creating and modifying reports
  • Familiarity with our business development technologies: Marketo, Clearbit, Groove, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills and business acumen
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
