We are looking for a developer to support our team with development and conception.
About Us
We are a young company (www.freezingdata.de) that develops the Social Network Harvester (SNH). The SNH is a digital forensics and OSINT software, supporting law enforcement, for example in the fight against child abuse. To further advance the development of our software we are looking for a skilled python developer.
Your tasks
- Development of a backend, based on Django and GraphQL
- Maintenance and development of webscraping modules in python
- Active participation in the development of the software architecture

Required skills and qualifications
- Successfully completed university degree in computer science or similar subjects
- (alternatively 3+ years of job experience as a software developer)
- Several years of work experience in web development using python frameworks like Django and/or Flask
- Experience in the design and implementation of Web APIs, experience in usage of GraphQL desired
- Experience in the usage and implementation of NoSQL databases, like MongoDB
- A big advantage is experience in building and maintaining CI pipelines using Gitlab-CI or similar applications like Jenkins or Github
- If you have already gathered some experience into Selenium that is a plus
- A basic understanding of HTML, JS, CSS and Ajax will be helpful
- You are interested in test development and clean code principles
- Open and structured communication style in English (German is a big plus)
- You are interested in collaboratively developing new software structures and architectures
- You are a regular user of social networks and understand their fundamental mechanics
- You are a curios and responsible personality with the ambition of further developing yourself and your skillset
