WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Conceptual design, development and operation of new and existing features for the online shops of the P&C Group
- Further development of our cloud-based e-commerce platform based on microservices and Kubernetes. Primarily these are realized with Scala, furthermore Java and Node.js are deployed
- Advising the product owners on the conception and planning of new features
- Work in an interdisciplinary, multi-member, agile Scrum team
- Work in autonomous development teams with responsibility from conception to operation of your services
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Several years of experience in the development of service-oriented architectures with Scala and/or Java;interest in Kotlin is beneficial
- Experience in using frameworks such as akka-http, akka-streams, and akka-actor
- Knowledge in Node.js and Java EE is beneficial
- Experience in event-driven architectures - e.g. AWS SQS or Apache Kafka - would be an advantage
- Experience with the AWS Cloud and/or GCP is a plus
