🌴 Back End - Intermediate developer for live video startup @ Mastermind - remote

Mastermind is a tech startup that helps anyone build a paid community using live video. Our platform is designed to help launch a single event, a course or an entire branded community. Our founders (Chris &Candice) are seasoned tech entrepreneurs with several successful exits to their credit. You will be working directly with the founders on a small (entirely remote) team rapidly iterating towards our product-market fit. We hire for character, team fit AND skills.

About the Role

As an intermediate python developer you will be working on the main platform and all RESTful Api's used by our application. Your primary focus will be on developing backend systems with API's using Django REST framework. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will work on a small technology team (<10) with direct access to the founding team. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

Skills

• STRONG proficiency in Python. 5+ Years experience in Python

• Experience with Django REST framework

• Excellent communicator and fluent in English

• Strong knowledge of API architecture and experience building APIs

• Previous experience with working remotely and on startups

• Strong team player with passion for learning

• BONUS : Any experience working with streaming video or video conferencing
