About this team and role:

In this role youll be a core team member working to improve and develop the messaging system and experimentation capabilities Youll be responsible for writing code, tests, specifications, building prototypes, solving problems, and analyzing data. In addition to this, you will lead and mentor a squad of 2-3 engineers.

What youll do:

  • Provide technical leadership for a team of world class engineers building new Firefox features
  • Work closely with Firefox Product, QA and UX teams to scope out product requirements and create implementation plans
  • Write code and tests, build prototypes, tackle problems with no clear solution, collaborate with other designers and engineers to make the web a better place.
  • Learn about a wide variety of problems and solutions across a large, mature codebase.
  • Help educate engineers on other teams through code reviews, giving talks, and/or writing documentation.
  • Work with driven, committed team members to bring the open web to people around the world.
