As the Regional Marketing Programs Manager, you will be the face of marketing to your region(s), devising and executing strategic marketing programs with cross-functional teams, impacting pipeline generation, and strengthening the Optiv brand.

This role reporting to the Senior Manager, Regional Marketing Programs, will be responsible for leading the strategy and execution surrounding Optiv’s regional marketing programs, which are leveraged as a lead generation tool for Optiv sales, services, and our partner community. This highly interactive and dynamic position works closely with Optiv’s Sales Go-To-Market team, Area Vice Presidents, Regional Sales Directors, individual Account Managers, internal cross-marketing functions, and Optiv’s extensive partner community.

Their primary objective is to move accounts through sales pipeline and accelerate the sales cycle for prospects and customers through the execution of strategic marketing programs, as well as to ensure thorough coverage and penetration of the total addressable market (TAM) leveraging various marketing distribution channels.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Identify and manage all appropriate regional marketing programs in a dedicated region(s), including but not limited to, Optiv-led strategic solution-focused roadshows, account-targeted programs, regional conferences and professional associations, targeted field activities, webinars, strategic roundtables, and partner events.
  • Delegate logistical responsibilities to the regional marketing coordinator, including but not limited to researching and securing venue options, setting up online registration pages, registration reporting, invitation creation, shipping materials, auditing programs in NetSuite, onsite program execution etc.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Program Leadership and the Demand Generation team to align global campaigns with supporting regional activities tailorable to each sales region.
  • Responsible for developing, leading, and refining Optiv’s regional marketing strategy in assigned territories, and ensuring it aligns with overall company strategy and initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales GTM team, AVPs and Regional Sales Directors to understand their business needs and create marketing activities that align with national objectives and regional goals and priorities.
  • Communicate marketing initiatives, ongoing national campaigns, and upcoming marketing programs to regional sales leadership.
  • Plan and execute strong, data-driven marketing activities and programs to drive pipeline generation and brand awareness in the region
  • Manage marketing relationship with partner community including program collaboration, determining strategic partner involvement in programs, allocation of funding, and setting program expectations.
  • Analyze investment, expected return, and overall feasibility of proposed activities, working with cross-functional marketing teams if additional resources are needed to meet program objectives.
  • Evaluate feasibility of additional in-region opportunities for the sales team to engage with prospects and build pipeline.
  • Work with sales GTM team and sales leadership to analyze partner involvement, and create strategies for partner participation throughout the year, as it aligns to Optiv solutions, and regional pipeline.
  • Responsible for producing and managing program budgets, securing adequate partner funding, and tracking MDF to ensure there is no profit loss.
  • Assess and create solutions to address challenges of the field team with professionalism and a can-do attitude.
  • Leads conversation with sales teams to improve upon future marketing programs.
  • Manage regional marketing programs calendar for assigned region(s).
  • Responsible for securing partner funding to defray event costs, either directly with partner manufacturers or through distribution.
  • Submit contracts and funding paperwork to technology partners.
  • Ensure necessary documentation is uploaded into NetSuite to support MDF claims.

    What we’re looking for

    • 7+ years of professional, business marketing experience including event strategy, creation, and execution.
    • Experience with developing targeted outreach marketing programs.
    • Passion for field marketing and working with sales to generate pipeline and drive business.
    • Ability to demonstrate leadership, creativity, and initiative.
    • Excellent strategic thinking skills with ability to make data-driven decisions.
    • Experience working with sales leadership and ability to influence others cross functionally.
    • Strong work ethic operating with a sense of urgency, ability to multi-task, strong organizational, and project management skills, and a can-do attitude.
    • Experience working in technology or cybersecurity a preferred.
    • Experience writing external facing marketing correspondence that supports marketing programs, lead generation activities, and marketing communication efforts.
    • Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, NetSuite, Domo, Splash, or similar integrated marketing tools is preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Marketing, Business, Communications, or English.

      Salary Range Description

      $80,300.00 –$107,500.00 Annual

      The Hiring Range provided for this role is informed by (but not limited to) various factors including responsibilities of the position, work experience, education/training, internal peer equity, geography, as well as other market influences when extending an offer. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for these factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a variable incentive-based bonus plan. Optiv offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, of which salary is a component.
