PSI is seeking an experienced and dedicated Human Resources Administrative Assistant with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our HR department while complying with all relevant government contracting regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR administrative practices, impeccable organizational skills, and exceptional attention to detail.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

  • Perform various administrative tasks and support our HR departments daily activities.
  • Assist with the general preparation, deployment, signature completion, and organization of internal company documents, policies, and acknowledgments.
  • Maintain, organize, and digitize employee files and database records (personnel, health, I-9s, certifications, vaccinations, etc.)
  • Assist with the review, scanning, distribution of mail.
  • Assist with employment verifications.
  • Assist with job fairs and the creation of candidate offer letters.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to support recruitment efforts, including job postings, scheduling candidate interviews, and documentation within an applicant tracking system.
  • Assist with the initiation of background checks.
  • Completion and deployment of new hire paperwork and onboarding new hires in UKG.
  • Conduct employee new-hire orientations.
  • Assist with employee off-boarding.
  • Track employee attendance and leave programs.
  • Assist in the coordination of training programs for employees, including compliance training related to government contracts.
  • Assist with employee performance and referral award processing.
  • Assist with the scheduling and preparation of employee performance evaluations and surveys.
  • Prepare HR-related reports as needed.
  • Assist with HR and internal audits by preparing data for reviews and reporting as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to benefits administration and payroll teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelorsdegree.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Human Resources field required.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
    • HRIS experience, UKG preferred.
    • Highly professional and able to use good judgment to maintain a high level of confidentiality, discretion and sensitivity when handling confidential information.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and social communication skills.
    • Able to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on variety of tasks and projects.
    • Approachable and appropriate interactions with staff at all levels in a rapidly changing environment.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability totravelas required;<20%.

      Desired Qualifications

      • Relevant HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
      • Government contracting experience preferred.
