(Senior) DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) - Industrial Data Science and Software - remote
ABOUT THE JOB
Help to deploy and maintain new technology solutions for our infrastructure
Create new automation and monitoring frameworks
Work on continuous integration of our solutions
Provide support for existing applications and procedures
Job requirements
QUALIFICATIONS THAT CATCH OUR EYE
At least 5 years of relevant practical working experience
- Academic degree or vocational training in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar
Good knowledge of Linux (e.g. RedHat/CentOS, Ubuntu) in server environments
Good knowledge of Shell, other scripting languages is a plus (especially Python)
Good knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Ansible)
- Good knowledge of clouds (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS)
Experience with CI and CD
Experience with Docker
Familiarity with databases, in particular, PostgreSQL
Familiarity with databases
Knowledge of data storage and processing technologies
Hands-on experience with systems and IT operations
Familiarity with scientific / research environments
Experience with high performance computing setups
Fluent English is a must, German is a plus
