Insurance securitization is already a $100 billion market, and the Ledger marketplace is designed to scale this to a $1+ trillion market. We are an online marketplace that connects risk to capital.  Risk originators, like insurers and brokers, get capital more cheaply than from traditional sources. Capital providers, like pension plans and other institutional investors, get access to an asset class that is completely uncorrelated with stocks and bonds -- consider how valuable that is in the current market! Ultimately, policyholders ultimately benefit from a more competitive insurance market.
