DOCPACE is a New Orleans based healthcare technology company that aims to change the way patients wait for their doctors appointments. At DOCPACE, we like you to imagine flight status updates but for doctors appointments. We use machine learning and automation to predict delays so doctors can notify patients ahead of time if their appointment will start on time or delayed. Our virtual experience automatically sends patients a link (via SMS) to enter a virtual waiting room – the link provides patients an appointment tracker and allows them to check-in from the parking lot when they have arrived – which then notifies staff they are onsite. Now patients can wait remotely and enter the appointment once the exam room is ready – eliminating the need for the waiting room and minimizing the risk of patient interaction to increase patient safety.
